P.O.S. - “Never Better”
If you’re like me, you LOVE hip-hop, but you’re sick of the misogynistic and homophobic lyrics - which makes good records hard to find… but every once in a while, some rapper pops up and saves the day. Right now, that person is P.O.S. I just got his record in the mail yesterday, and hands-down, it’s fucking sick. First off, the packaging is insane! Check out the video above. Second, the lyrics deal with politics, personal struggle, punk rock, skating and use more intelligent ways to insult people instead of throwing out the norms (bitch, faggot, etc.)…. so refreshing!!! Bonuses include a Fugazi reference/sample and guest vocals by Jason Shevchuk of Kid Dynamite.
